Hoomans have a bug in their system that causes them to give up their free time, self-indulgence, and complete independence just as they're reaching that point and out of parental supervision. It seems like having a boss at the office is not enough, so they choose to have one at home!

Yes, we're talking about choosing to be a parent. Whether it's parenting babies or pawrenting kittens, the result is that you sacrifice your free time, sleeping hours, and a chunk of your salary. Why do hoomans do that? What's wrong with being able to take off if you feel like it, having nice things around the house, or handling your own numbers - one and two - without worrying about anyone else's?

Fellow pawrents, we know how impawrtant empathy is for times when our kids are taking complete and utter control over us, and we feel like slaves to these tiny creatures. If there's a bug in the system, it's actually eliminating waste that the body doesn't use, and then our adult supervision has to clean it like a submissive slave. Just imagine - a world without nature's incessant calls. We guarantee a lot more people will decide to be pawrents.

The problem with babies, toddlers, fluffy felines, and anyone who is under our pawrental supervision, is that they like the sense of confidence we provide at night as well. So in they come, when all our guards are way down, at a time when we'll agree to anything just to continue sleeping. Somehow, pretty quickly and defying all rules of physics, their tiny bodies take up most of the bed.
